Who is the course for?
Programming, audience development, education, events and managerial staff of independent cinemas, festivals, arts venues and film clubs. Plus audience and arts development officers from screen agencies, local authorities and other support organisations. There will be a choice of sessions so you can choose your route through the day according to your level of experience and areas of interest.
How will the course be taught?
Through talks, workshops and panel discussions with programming and audience development experts and guest speakers from cinemas, festivals, archives and distribution companies. There will be a choice of breakout sessions so you can choose your route through the day according to your level of experience and areas of interest. You will hear case studies of inspiring projects, insider information and lots of practical advice and ideas to take back to work. You will also have the opportunity to network with a wide range of organisations from around the UK and to join an online forum to stay in touch after the course.
