As part of BFI Neighbourhood Cinema the ICO is delivering a series of training events to support new and existing community cinemas.
The first of these events will be held on Sunday 6 April 2014 as part of ICO Screening Days, and will develop skills and information exchange around three key areas:
- Utilising new technologies
- Developing skills for a sustainable community cinema
- Programming diverse content
The training events are designed to help community cinemas develop regular and sustainable activity, and bring a diverse range of film content to communities across the UK.

6.00 – 6.30pm Innovative case studies for sustainability, Deptford Film Club and the Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema
6.30 – 7.00pm Programming diverse content, BFFS & BFI
7.00 – 9.00pm Networking drinks
