Animators based in the South East are invited to our upcoming Animation Lab in Brighton!
Taking place on Friday 15th November 2019 at the University of Brighton (Edward Street campus) during CINECITY 2019, this Lab is a day dedicated to supporting animation talent from across the South East region.
It is targeted at emerging animators, but is also relevant for established animators and will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about:
- The UK animation industry
- How to get your work made and funded
- How to develop your storytelling skills
- How to progress your ideas for short and feature animations.
The Lab will comprise a series of talks led by animators including Astrid Goldsmith, Russell Etheridge and Anushka Naanayakkara; producers from BLINKINK and commissioners from BFI plus other invited guests and support from Film Hub South East’s BFI NETWORK Talent Executive Tom Wightman.
These labs are set up to support animators who may eventually be interested in applying to the BFI NETWORK funds for their animation projects.
With many thanks to the University of Brighton for hosting the event.
