Join the BFI NETWORK South East team for a short film screening and Q&A, followed by networking drinks, in partnership with Norfolk Screen, Norwich Film Festival and BFI Doc Society.
We’ll be screening the short film Left Over, starring Chloe Pirrie and Ian Hart, which was funded by BFI NETWORK South East, followed by a Q&A with filmmaker David Drake about his experiences making the film.
BFI NETWORK South East talent executives Tom Wightman and Nicole Davis will be on hand during the event to answer any questions you have about the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund, which is currently open for applications and supports the production of live-action, animation and immersive fiction film projects of up to 15 minutes.
We will also be joined by representatives from BFI Doc Society (the BFI’s delegate partner for National Lottery funds for UK documentary filmmaking), who will be available to discuss the Made of Truth BFI Doc Society Short Film Fund supports new and emerging non-fiction talent UK-wide as part of BFI NETWORK and will be opening for applications in May.
Finally, join us for networking drinks to meet and connect with fellow filmmakers, or chat to Tom and Nicole about your film ideas.
