We hope you enjoy reading about all of our projects from the last twelve months, but here are some of the highlights:
- Our ICO programming network has grown to 24 cinema clients, programming 902 different films to over one million people
- We welcomed 727 people from 328 different venues to ICO Screening Days events
- Our Britain on Film archive touring programme has screened to over 19,500 people across 613 screenings, with two new titles, Britain on Film: Welcome to Britain and Protest! released in May 2019
- We toured four trailblazing films from New German Cinema director Margarethe von Trotta with The Personal is Political – The Films of Margarethe von Trotta
- ICO training programmes were attended by nearly 100 film exhibition professionals from 60 organisations and over 50 countries
- We reached over 200,000 people via our Screen Heritage project New Towns, Our Town – Stories on Screen, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
- ICO distribution released 38 films seen by over 17.3k people
- With support from the British Council we secured two FEDS (Film Exhibition Distribution & Sales) International Placements for FEDS alumni
- ICO supported 12 filmmakers in the South East region as part of BFI NETWORK
- We advertised 466 film exhibition jobs online for free – the only service of its kind
