UK Global Screen Fund Coordinator – Business Development

The BFI is seeking a Coordinator to join the BFI’s UK Global Screen Fund team on a fixed-term basis.
You will assist with advice for applicants and stakeholders, eligibility and assessment for UK Global Screen Fund’s (UKGSF) funding strands, with particular focus on International Business Development. This includes providing project management support, coordinating meetings and application and guidelines processes, and assisting with eligibility checks and advice for applicants and stakeholders.
Fixed Term Contract: until 31 March 2025
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively undertake eligibility checks for all applications to the International Business Development strand, in particular, assessing eligibility of organizations and costs, following up on queries or missing information as required, and consulting with the Business Affairs Executive and/or Fund Manager where necessary.
- Coordinating International Business Development strand application processes, and updates to application processes, and liaising with various BFI departments accordingly.
- Coordinating time-sensitive International Business Development funding submissions to the BFI’s internal finance committee.
- Supporting fund managers and Business Affairs Executive to ensure awarded companies and projects adhere to funding agreements and processes, including occasional preparation and provision of said agreements and monitoring of required deliverables at assessment and contracting stage.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- An understanding of business planning and KPI reporting.
- A demonstrable interest and understanding of the screen sectors.
- Proven experience and understanding of using database systems, such as Blackbaud Grantmaking and/or financial tracking.
- Project management experience
