Gedling Borough Council is looking for two part-time Theatre Support Officers to join their team at the Bonington Theatre.

• Part-time, 18.5 hrs per week

Role responsibilities

You will assist in the operation of the theatre in compliance with the Authority’s policies and objectives and support the Theatre Operations Manager as necessary, including assisting with film projection, lighting and sound work as well as setting up and taking down equipment and some stage management.

Person specifications

You must have at least 1 year’s technical experience with a theatre/similar environment and practical experience and knowledge of theatre technical practices, including using sound and lighting systems for a varied theatre programme (live performance/ dance/ musical/ Corporate Events/ Cinema).
