Technical Manager

Salary: Salary dependent on experience

Vertigo Releasing one of the UK’s leading independent film distribution companies has a vacancy for an In-house Technical Manager, managing the end to end deliverables process for all technical materials.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working within the film industry in a technical deliverables role – either in house at a distributor or sales agent, or in a post-production facility or lab, be dynamic with strong inter-personal skills, forward thinking and an excellent planner. Additional interest in basic editing and asset creation an advantage.

Role will include: 

• Being the first point of contact for any technical queries both internally and externally.
• Responsibility for managing delivery from all film licensors to the relevant post facilities / labs.
• Responsibility for the creation and delivery of all required technical materials, including for servicing of Theatrical, Home Ent, Digital Platforms and Broadcaster exploitation.
• Managing materials storage, anti-piracy, pre-release screenings, certification, print and trailer delivery.
