The New Black Film Collective is currently looking for a Sub-editor for their Xposé publication.
Role details:
- Freelance contract (8 to 16 hrs)
If you have a keen eye for detail and a flair for editorial excellence, we want you on our team. In this role, you will edit articles, maintain stylistic consistency, and work closely with writers to craft engaging content that highlights the Black screen industry. Ideal candidates should possess editing experience, a passion for film, and a deep understanding of cultural narratives. This is a fantastic opportunity to significantly influence the representation of Black talent and their stories. The New Black Film Collective (TNBFC) is a nationwide network of film producers, educators and programmers of Black representation on screen. We provide a variety of essential services, including Film PR and Marketing, Consultancy, Event Management, Screenings, Distribution and Education.
This year marks our 4th annual convention, where we celebrate Black excellence and promote greater diversity in the industry. TNB XPO 2025 (TX25) will take place from March 24-27 at Rich Mix, with an online event on the 28th. Additionally, Xposé, our online magazine, serves as a brochure for both digital and print formats for TX25.
