Salary: £34,602 - £40,545 per annum

The BFI is looking for a Social Producer to work with the Social Media Lead to implement and develop their 25 & Under content strategy, with a clear emphasis on TikTok.

The successful candidate will work with the Engagement, Marketing and Communications directorate and other directorates to plan, film, edit and deliver engaging and innovative content that balances driving engagement on TikTok and beyond with campaign and organisational objectives.

Contract Type: until 31 March 2025
Full time: Full time, 41 hours per week (including 1 hour lunch break)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Engagement, Marketing and Communications directorate to produce compelling stories related to key BFI programmes and activity, tapping into the trends, sounds and edits that cut through on TikTok, Instagram Reels and beyond
  • Work with Social Media Lead to set and drive the KPIs around TikTok content, regularly reviewing and tracking analysis to evolve plans accordingly
  • Work with Social Media Lead to maintain our TikTok platform and content strategies, updating as and when necessary
  • Support Marketing Coordinators, as well as the BFI Network and BFI Film Academy teams, empowering them to create engaging TikTok content relevant to their campaigns

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Demonstrable experience of creating unique and engaging video content for TikTok or equivalent platforms, for a brand or individual account with a significant following/engagement
  • Proven experience and knowledge of all aspects of the TikTok platform, from content production and publication, to trends and reporting
  • Experience using editing software such as Premiere Pro and mobile editing software such as CapCut
  • Ability to plan ahead for the delivery of social media and/or content campaigns using data and insight to maximise reach and engagement
