The BFI is seeking a Senior Royalties & Rights Manager to join the BFI’s Finance, People and Business Operations team.
The post-holder will drive process improvements, while overseeing the efficient and effective operation of royalty accounting to third parties and associated information to colleagues, and assist the Finance department in delivering prompt and reliable information to the business.
Fixed Term Contract: 18 months
Key responsibilities include:
- To manage the identification and implementation of process improvements
- To work with the BFI teams and Vistex (MM software provider) to review current processes and understand existing MM and Integra functionality that may be used to improve processes, and support implementation of new processes.
- To ensure that systems and processes are in place to deliver accurate income and expenditure data for use in the royalty calculations, working with finance and other colleagues to identify and address any Integra data capture areas for improvement.
- To ensure that Finance systems and processes are in place to accurately record royalty costs, recoupment of advances, royalties payable and VAT where relevant and reconcile data between Integra and MM.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Previous experience with computerised royalty systems – preferably Media Maestro
- Working knowledge and understanding of copyright and royalty agreements.
- Familiarity with computerised accounting systems.
- The ability to analyse financial data
