Salary: £29,637 - £35,025 plus generous benefits package
The BFI is seeking a Royalties & Rights Coordinator (1 Year Fixed Term Contract) to interpret and enter contractual royalty terms in BFI systems, validate royalties and identify and implement system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Rights & Contracts and the Royalties Manager to validate income and expenditure journals, carrying out investigation and issue resolution where errors occur
- Interpret and enter royalty and recoupment terms ensuring the terms are reflected accurately on the rights and royalty system, Media Maestro
- To work with BFI system administrators to identify and implement system improvements with software suppliers
- To provide reporting and analysis on royalties positions
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience with computerised royalty systems including familiarity with Media Maestro
- Experience in a media and/or copyright environment and knowledge of copyright and royalty agreements
- The ability to analyse and problem solve with an in depth knowledge of Excel
The role is predominantly based at BFI Stephen Street, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home until the foreseeable future.
