Projectionist

Salary: £10.55 per hour

Picturehouse Central is looking for a projectionist with at least two years’ experience.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a Projectionist working in a Digital Cinema operation which has rapid turnover of content.

Picturehouse Central is a major West End venue for festivals and live events, such as Conferencing, Director/Panel Q&As, Multimedia events and press and industry screenings – you should be knowledgeable enough to be able to providing technical support for these, including working with non-cinema AV sources as well as sound and lighting desks and be comfortable with networking and wireless systems. As well as working with 3^rd party engineers and contractors.

Experience in the preparation, presentation and dispatch of 35mm and 70mm film is desired but not essential as training would be provided, as we regularly do full programmed runs of both gauges.

Please note there is a requirement to work 40 hours over any of the seven days with regular work at evenings and weekends and opportunities to work additional hours as required.
