The BFI is seeking an Outreach Librarian to join the Reuben Library at the BFI Southbank.
We are seeking an Outreach Librarian to join the BFI’s Reuben Library at the BFI Southbank.
You will be responsible for developing outreach and engagement by helping to deepen the public’s understanding of the unique collections we hold at the BFI, and facilitate access to them. You will be a key part of the team that deliver the library service 5 days a week and lead on engagement activities such as student inductions, group tours and public programme events.
You will have experience of managing enquiries within a specialist research library or similar environment, and have the ability to manage and develop staff with one Assistant Librarian reporting to you. You will be creative and understand how to develop audience engagement with the collections, and have experience in outreach activity.
