London-based FilmChain CAM is seeking a full-time, mid-senior-level sales team member who is passionate about driving FilmChain’s mission to empower the film and TV industries with real-time payments, on-demand reporting, and insights.

The ideal candidate will join a fast-growing, innovative company at the intersection of technology and entertainment. FilmChain’s collection agency was established in 2018 and is accelerating royalties disbursements globally. The ideal candidate will have around 8+ years experience in Sales or Business Development in film/television. The successful individual will work on both execution and strategy in collaboration with the founders, the Head of Business Affairs, and the Business Development team.

Role responsibilities:
  • Generate strategies for acquiring new client leads.
  • Reach out to new client leads.
  • Demo FilmChain to new potential clients.
  • Liaise with the legal team in the drafting process of our legal documentation (CAMAs).
  • Manage the clients’ pipeline in our CRM tool Streak and other company tools and have a clear overview of the on-going client conversations.
  • Onboard new clients and film titles on the FilmChain platform.
  • Contribute to the weekly BD (business development) team conversations about new outreach campaigns and periodic offers.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant organisations such as Producers Associations.
Role requirements:
  • A good understanding of the film and TV landscape, particularly regarding the financial closings, the recoupment schedule and collections.
  • An independent, sales-driven professional with attention to detail
  • Comfortable selling and negotiating
  • Fluent with legal contracts and reports
  • A creative and solution-orientated mind, with initiative and ability to optimise leads for outreach and CRM
  • Entrepreneurial attitude: agile, adaptable, self-motivated and autonomous, with a good understanding of a fast-paced environment
  • Happy to work remotely
  • Optimistic and a team player
  • Effective communicator with an appetite for technology and platforms
