Future of Films is looking for a Marketing & PR manager to help them shape and deliver Future of Film Summit 2021.

About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive and dynamic marketing and PR strategy for our third annual event. One that successfully engages – and mobilises – our key audiences.
Reporting to the Summit Director, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Future of Film team and help shape the future of storytelling!
The preferred candidate will be a self starter who has experience of successfully marketing events throughout their lifecycle. They should have a good knowledge of the UK and US markets and a keen interest in the future of storytelling on screen.
Whilst promoting the event to consumers is the primary aim, the ideal candidate would also be experienced in promoting to sponsors and possess a network that includes potential sponsorship candidates. Note, commission is paid for any such sponsorship deals that are closed.
Future of Film Summit 2021 is taking place online, and our audiences are spread across the globe, with key communities in both the UK and the US. Storytellers, industry stakeholders and technology pioneers, our audiences are excited by innovation and hungry to discover the cutting edge of storytelling.

About you
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Strong track record of successfully marketing events
- Commercial mindset and appreciation of the ‘bottom line’
- Ability to identify and close sponsorship deals
- Excellent understanding of UK and US film / entertainment / VFX industries
- Practical knowledge of film and creative communities online – and in particular, how to tap into these
- Expertise in Social Media (in particular Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Understanding of digital advertising techniques and strategies
- Skills in Mailchimp and Canva (or similar design tool)
- Good Relations with key Trade Press
- A passion for storytelling on screen
