Front of House Manager

Salary: £25,000

Phoenix Cinema is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager, to lead the FOH team and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.

Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley is the oldest continuously running and one of the best loved community cinemas in the UK We are a registered charity.

About the role

Responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of the cinema, the FOH Manager will also assign the weekly staff rota, oversee bar and retail sales, weekly ordering and the monthly stocktake. They will be required to operate the digital projector when on duty (training can be provided) and ensure that the building is always safe and welcoming to audiences and visitors.

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership and confidence in a customer facing role and calmness under pressure. The Phoenix hosts a huge array of films and special events and no one week is the same as the next, so you will need to be adaptable and solution driven.

Experience of working and managing a team in an arts or a hospitality venue is preferable and evening and weekend work is required.
