Film Academy Festival & Events Coordinator

Salary: £24,546 - £28,728 per annum

The BFI is seeking a coordinator to support the Film Academy Festival & Events Manager to successfully deliver the year-round programme of Film Academy events and Future Film Festival in-venue and online.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate, and maintain good communication, across individual event requirements with event stakeholders
  • Handle co-ordination and collation of all event assets, including all on-screen content from events participants and festival sponsors and partners.
  • Prepare copy and source images for all events communications including the BFI website, Eventbrite pages and social media channels.
  • Support the Festival and Events Manager in writing festival evaluation reports.
Experience & Skills
  • Experience of scheduling and co-ordinating multiple events in-person and online.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and targets whilst working in a busy environment.
  • An understanding of working with press and marketing to successfully promote events.
  • Experience of working with young people (16-25 year olds) either in the informal sector or with schools and formal education establishments.
