Festival Volunteers

BFI and Radio Times Television Festival

London

Salary: Expenses only

The BFI & Radio Times Television Festival, the biggest, most exciting television festival in the UK, is seeking volunteers. The festival is returning for a third year at BFI Southbank from Friday 17 April – Sunday 19 April 2020.

The Festival will celebrate the best of British television, as well as exclusive previews of some of the most anticipated programmes of 2020, with actors, directors and writers giving audiences a glimpse behind the scenes of some of television’s most talked-about shows.

Taking place across BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX, the Festival is looking for an engaged group of volunteers to work alongside the Events and Visitor Services teams to ensure the weekend runs smoothly and visiting talent and audiences alike are provided with the very best experience at our Festival.

These posts require flexible availability, with some early mornings, late evening and weekend hours, assisting the BFI Events team and Festival producers to deliver a seamless audience experience across the festival weekend. These are public facing roles, offering the opportunity to both build and enjoy the festival atmosphere across a number of high profile events.

Volunteers are an essential and valued part of the festival team, working closely with BFI staff, and will be welcome to enjoy festival events outside of their scheduled hours wherever possible.

Refreshments and catering will be provided, along with contribution to transport costs.

All volunteers will be required to attend a training day on Wednesday 15 April 2020 at 19:00
