Manchester Animation Festival is looking for a Festival Coordinator to join its team from September – November.

Manchester Animation Festival is the UKs largest animation festival, with a range of events including screenings, masterclasses, Q&As, workshops, panels and much more. The festival has grown significantly over the first eight years and is now the UKs largest animation festival.

About the role

The Festival Coordinator will be a key member of the festival team, and the ideal candidate will be very organised, proactive, enthusiastic and confident in working independently towards tight deadlines ensuring that the festival is delivered to the highest quality.

The role of the Coordinator is very varied providing overall administrative and organisational support. MAF are looking for someone flexible, committed, who is always looking to develop new skills, engage with new partners, explore different ways of working and has good attention to detail.

Contract period: The post-holder will be expected to work a total of 65 days, working Mon – Fri from 4 September until 30 November.

Fee: £100 per day, invoiced monthly.

Place of work: This post may be carried out remotely (within the UK), but they will need to be in Manchester for the full duration of the festival, and for other key events before the festival.
