About Showroom
Showroom Workstation is Sheffield’s only media arts complex operating a popular independent café/bar, conference and events facility, four-screen cinema, and creative industries managed workspace.
About the role
As a CSA, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, anticipating and responding to their needs to ensure every visit to our venue is memorable. The responsibilities of our CSA’s vary according to what’s going on – generally the role will involve selling and serving food and drink in the bar and front of house assistance in the cinema areas; but also could involve helping with the running of our conferences, events and year-round programme of festivals, working across all areas of our beautiful art-deco building. We also have occasional short term opportunities for staff to get involved in working in other departments of the Company.
Please note that we operate Monday-Sunday, so all postholders will be required to work weekends and evenings on a fair rota basis, subject to business requirements.
Experience would be useful, but full training will be given, so if you are friendly, hard-working, flexible and have a helpful can-do attitude we’d love you to apply.
When applying, please state the number of hours you are available each week and indicate any regular days of the week, or times, that you are not available.
Staff benefits: staff associate membership (free cinema tickets), opportunities to attend special events and screenings, discounted food and drink, access to cycle to work scheme, company pension (terms apply).
Please note that to cover the full range of responsibilities in the role, the sale of alcohol will be involved, so applicants would need to be aged 18 and over. Please be fully aware of this when applying.
Variable contracts with variable hours available (ranging from zero to 28 hours per week). Please specify on the application form.
