Customer Services Assistants

Salary: £7.78 per hour (or NLW, if applicable)

Showroom Workstation is an independent charity, operating an integrated media arts complex with café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

We are looking for several Customer Services Assistants (CSA) to join our team, particularly those with bar experience. As a CSA, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, anticipating and being responsive to their needs, and taking general responsibility for the safety, satisfaction and comfort of all visitors to the venue. Your responsibilities will vary – the role will involve selling and serving food and drink in the bar and helping with the running of our conferences, events and year-round programme of festivals, in all areas of the building. There may also be the opportunity to provide front of house assistance in the cinema front of house areas.

It is very important to note that all post-holders will be required to work evenings and/or weekends on a fair rota basis, subject to business requirements as required. Experience is an advantage but not essential – we’re looking for staff with great people skills, with a passion for excellent service. Bar or barista experience would be helpful, but full training will be given to the right candidates. If you are friendly, flexible and have a helpful can-do attitude we’d love you to apply.
