Macrobert Arts Centre is looking for a Community Venue and Film Manager to join their team.
About the Role
The purpose of this post is to lead on the development of Macrobert’s approach to film and community engagement and to support and promote the best possible customer experience as part of Macrobert Arts Centre’s Our Community Cinema project. Funded by the Scottish Government’s Recovery Fund for Independent Cinemas through Screen Scotland, we envisage the Our Community Cinema venue to house a 20 seat cinema, alongside an additional workshop space, Box Office & Kiosk.
Together with the Film Programme Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering a film programme suitable for this community, as well film education and other related engagement activities. You will also support the customer service team to promote the best customer journey, including upkeep and presentation of the venue & facilities.
