Salary: £19,000 per annum

The National Science and Media Museum in Bradford (NSMM) houses a 3-screen cinema operation including Europe’s first IMAX. The NSMM cinema (300 seats) and Cubby Broccoli cinema (100 seats) screen the best of independent cinema with selected mainstream titles and a Screen Arts programme. IMAX (218 seats) screens the best feature titles available in IMAX format and a regular programme of shorter educational IMAX films for families and pre-booked groups.

We are now looking for a Cinema Sales Officer to support the development of the in-house management of the Cinema operations on a full time permanent basis.

In this role, you will facilitate the promotion of film screenings, administer the ticketing system and will play a key role in actively growing and engaging new audiences, by supporting with the development of our communications, social media and digital marketing campaigns for the cinema business.

Joining us, you will have a passion for film and an interest in marketing or sales. You’ll be motivated and keen in getting involved with social media content creation, whilst building strong relationships with the team, working collaboratively and communicating well. You’ll need to be a strong administrator; comfortable using Excel and able to remain organised under pressure.
