Cinema & Box Office Assistant

Salary: £8.50 to £11 per hour

The Cinema at Selfridges, a new three-screen cinema located in Selfridges in London, is seeking a Cinema & Box Office Assistant.

• Responsible to: Cinema Manager
• Salary: £8.50 – £11 per hour / Dependent on experience
• Hours: 35 – 45 hours per week, including evenings and weekends

The Cinema & Box Office Assistant will support the cinema’s day-to-day box office operations, assisting with the administration of the ticketing/online/telephone systems, daily admin and reporting, selling tickets to the general public for all films and events and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Knowledge of Vista box office systems is advantageous as well as previous experience in a box office role.

This is a customer facing role so a smart appearance and customer service experience is essential, and the successful applicant must be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Someone with experience in an arts, hospitality, or customer service environment would be ideal for this role.
