BFI NETWORK Coordinator

Salary: £28,767 to £33,657 plus benefits

The BFI NETWORK Coordinator is instrumental in the smooth delivery of BFI NETWORK activity across the UK, throughout the year, as well as providing full support to the Talent Development Manager. Marketing and communication of BFI NETWORK activities will also be a big part of this role, including the coordination of information between the BFI NETWORK partners and the BFI Film Fund.

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills, with an interest in the practical aspects involved in filmmaking. You will coordinate the BFI NETWORK commissioning process, from selection to delivery of short films. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the BFI NETWORK online platform, including curating content, and managing the budget. There are a number of key NETWORK events throughout the year that the Coordinator will help to deliver, including NETWORK at the London Film Festival and the NETWORK Weekender, our professional development weekend.

To be successful you will be passionate about new talent, with an interest in British independent film and film talent, as well have an understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by emerging UK film talent. You should also have a track record of working on big projects – this could be working in production, or managing events.
