The BFI are seeking a Delegate Services Coordinator to lead on the delivery of a high quality Festival Industry delegate experience during BFI Flare.
Fixed Term Contract: 23 January – 07 April 2023
We are seeking a Delegate Services Coordinator who will lead on the delivery of a high quality Festival Industry delegate experience during BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival (15 – 26 March 2023).
BFI Flare is our long-running LGBTQIA+ festival, with a growing audience in London and on BFI Player, and one of the most inclusive film events of the BFI’s annual calendar.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of Festival Industry delegate experience during the Festival, offering clear communication that will help them to maximise the professional opportunity and enjoyment.
- To work closely with the BFI Flare Production & Events Manager, and co-supervising the Delegate Services Assistant, the Delegate Services Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the delegate experience from sales of passes to ease of access to the Industry & Professional programme both in cinemas and online.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Demonstrable and significant previous administrative experience gained within a Festival or similarly fast-paced environment, in a similar role
- An appreciation of, and passion for LGBTQIA+ arts and culture
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build effective relationships with key contacts across BFI and stakeholder organisations, and to communicate effectively and tactfully with stakeholders at all levels.
