Executive Director (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £28,500 pro rata

The Phoenix is one of London’s oldest and best-loved independent cinemas, screening a varied mix of first-run features, screen arts and special events alongside a strong creative learning programme.

They are looking for a dynamic, motivated Executive Director for a period of maternity cover from March 2018 – January 2019, to lead the management and efficient running of the cinema (including finance, fundraising, marketing and HR) and to work with Phoenix Trustees on shaping and delivering its longer-term aims.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of senior management experience in a comparable environment and show understanding and enthusiasm for the Phoenix and its audience. They will be confident with accounts, a creative thinker, and able to lead and inspire a team of staff.
