Acclaimed shorts filmmaker Jacqueline Lentzou’s delicate, inventive feature debut – styled as a ‘film about love, movement, flow and the lack of them’ – has screened at festivals worldwide including the Berlinale.

When illness strikes down her father Paris (Lazaros Georgakopoulos), teenager Artemis (Sofia Kokkali) returns home to Greece. Paris requires daily care, and though he has been largely absent from her life, she’s the only one who can look after him. But neither fit easily into their roles: they are unable to communicate, with an arctic emotional gulf between them, and while Paris is robbed of his agency, Artemis finds herself faced with decisions whose full ramifications she’s too young to understand.

Interweaving excerpts from Artemis’s diary and Paris’s old camcorder footage, moving between coming-of-age story and illness drama, and themed around astronomy, astrology and fate, Moon, 66 Questions is an unconventional and imagistic portrait of Artemis as she re-evaluates her relationship with her father.
