London Australian Film Festival Closing Gala
To gain some much needed cash John Kelly (Travis McMahon, Kokoda) accepts a job to kidnap professional gambler Eli Jones (David Lyons, ER) and to deliver him in to a deserted spot in the Australian outback. But as the plan unravels the road that John has chosen is filled with tough decisions and tragic consequences.
Bryan Brown is the maverick country cop whose territory the pair must cross and Shane Jacobson (Kenny) is the unfortunate trucker in the wrong place at the wrong time. Brilliant dialogue and spot-on performances mean this stylishly shot thriller doesn’t miss a beat.
