Established in 1974, Stoke Film Theatre is one of the UK’s longest running film theatres and ensures that a wider variety of films is shown in Stoke-on-Trent.
Run almost entirely by volunteers, Stoke Film Theatre offers an eclectic programme of world cinema, documentaries, classics and thematic seasons at its single screen cinema with an emphasis on titles which have either not been shown or have received a very limited release at local multiplexes.
Previously located at the University of Staffordshire’s College Road campus, the cinema has now moved to The Wade Centre in Hartshill Road.
