Thea Burrows

Thea is a Cannes Lions award winning producer with twenty years’ experience of production. After having run a branded content production company which was recognised as one of Creative England’s Top 50 Screen Companies, Thea moved into developing and producing feature films and TV drama in 2020. She produced her debut feature, Wait For Me, during lockdown and the film is set for theatrical release in May 2023. She has also produced several short films, including BFI NETWORK-funded The Rising of the Sap, starring BAFTA winner Joanna Scanlan and the award-winning Mushy Peas to Green Tea Kulfi.

Thea has a unique blend of skills combining business acumen, production background and ability to spot and develop new creatives and material. She excels at supporting creative talent achieve their vision and strives to make projects enjoyable and inspiring experiences. She is passionate about shooting in her beloved North and encouraging more female HODs and creative talent.
