Director Chus Gutierrez calls upon her own experiences as a member of girl band Las Xoxonees during La movida Madrileña for this engaging exploration of the other side of Transition. 1981: Sara’s a ‘good girl’ who ventures out one night to one of La movida’s hottest nightspots: El Calentito bar where she watches popular all-girl punk band, Las Siux. How could she guess that her life will soon become entwined with that of the band members and that El Calentito will become her second home and refuge.
