Who is it for?
Anyone involved in marketing, PR or communications for their cinema, film festival, film society or cross arts venue. There will be a choice of introductory and more advanced sessions on social networking, making the course suitable for different levels of expertise – whether you’re just starting out, looking for a refresher, or wanting to keep up with the latest developments.

How will the course be taught?
Through talks from marketing and PR experts, case studies of venues and festivals that are getting it right, discussions with journalists, practical workshops and group exercises. This is not a technical course, but will teach you the principles and provide you with knowledge and ideas to take back to the office. There will also be opportunities to meet your peers from around the UK, including a networking dinner on Wednesday evening.
