Marketing and Graphic Design Intern

Salary: €1200 per month

The Coproduction Office looking for a globally minded and result-oriented colleague, to complete our team of thirty people working in a dynamic and international environment.

The successful candidate will assist our Sales & Marketing team and our founder Philippe Bober.

Role details

You will

• work in an international and multilingual environment with a friendly and motivational atmosphere alongside committed and team-oriented colleagues.
• gain insight on the independent film industry while working on unique films.
• perform the following tasks as a member of our sales and marketing team:
  Coordinating film marketing with graphic designers, trailer editors, talents, decision-makers, printers, and market staff for our booths in Unifrance, Berlin, Cannes, etc.
• Assistance with the layout and design of press books, posters and other marketing elements
• Enhancing marketing materials for catalogue films
• Assisting with catalogue sales and suggesting ideas for retrospectives and collections
• Creating bonus material for films (interviews, behind-the-scenes content)
• Managing and increasing activities on social media and the website
• Collecting and archiving press reviews and suggesting press quotes
• Participating in test screenings

Person specifications

• A native or fully fluent English-speaker with excellent command of French and/or German. Other languages are a plus.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-focused
• Passionate about cinema with a strong interest in marketing
• Creative and able to think outside the box
• Tech-savvy and proficient in cloud-based applications (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and virtual workspaces
• Experienced in the film industry (a plus)
• Flexible and proactive
