The newest member of the marketing team, Leonie traded in telescopes for film cameras, joining the Independent Cinema Office from the visitor centre at Jodrell Bank Observatory. She now works across the different departments of the ICO, promoting events and opportunities within the organisation and across the film exhibition industry.

Beyond her work at the ICO, Leonie is particularly interested in working on and with arts festivals, bringing them to life as sites of community and co-production. This interest led her to become the Festival Assistant at Manchester Film Festival, and to a number of other roles before she took up her mantel at the ICO.
