Following its expansion in 2019, Jam Jar now has three screens with DCI projection, two bar areas and a lift and is accessible to all, providing a welcoming and supportive community space.
Jam Jar operates a three-tier ticket price model so customers can choose to pay the price that best fits their financial situation. In fact, the cinema takes its name from the historic ‘Jam Jar Cinema’ model that originated regionally, whereby you could get discounted or free cinema tickets on production of a jam jar – a practice that only ended in the 1970s when the value of glass declined.
