Production Manager 2024

Salary: £32,000 per annum pro-rata

Manchester Animation Festival is looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

Manchester Animation Festival is the UKs largest animated film festival. We champion animation as a creative and diverse art form and believe that animation is for all. Founded in 2015, this year will be the 10th edition of the festival. Last year we had over 10,500 admissions, hosted 89 speakers and ran 120 events/screenings over six days. We screened 180 short films from 64 different countries, 8 features and handed out 12 awards. This large-scale event takes place over multiple venues and includes screenings, masterclasses, Q&As, workshops, panels, an industry day, marketplace and much more.

The Production Manager is an integral part of the team and works closely with the Festival Director and Executive Producer and is responsible for the overall production, operational and delivery of MAF. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing large scale events and projects as well as staff management experience.

Hours: 40 hour per week inclusive of breaks
Contract: Fixed term. This role commences no later than Monday 12 August until Friday 13 December.
