Fund Manager – BFI Filmmaking Funds

The BFI is looking for an experienced Fund Manager to join their Filmmaking Fund team who will be responsible for the provision of expert management of BFI’s National Lottery Creative Challenge, Development and Future Takes Funds, which form key parts of the Filmmaking Fund’s activity in the BFI’s Screen Culture 2033 strategy.
The BFI Filmmaking Fund team, with National Lottery funding, co-finance and offer development funding and also support filmmaking teams throughout the lifecycle of a project, from development and production to launching their films.
Fixed Term Contract: until 31 March 2026
Key responsibilities include:
- Practical oversight of all projects and programmes supported through the Creative Challenge, Development and Future Takes Funds
- Support the application and assessment processes for each fund, with a specific focus on monitoring the implementation, includes tracking the physical delivery and completion of the projects and programmes we fund, according to budget and to time, and gathering data and information to enable the proper evaluation of each programme
- Line management of the Development Coordinator, providing clear direction and support
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience working in a similar role relating to fund or programme management, either in an arts or culture role or broader charity sector.
- Proven experience in project and budget management
- An understanding of the film and/or TV sector particularly around either single project development or project/creative development programmes
