Showroom Workstation have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Conference and Events Sales Manager to join their team.
Hours: 37 hours per week: some early mornings, late evenings and occasional weekends required, in accordance with the needs of the business.
Showroom Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen digital cinema and creative industries managed workspace. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Conference and Events Sales Manager to join our very busy and committed team.
The successful applicant will be part of a team reporting to the Operations Manager and will work very closely with other managers across the venue to help drive business forward in our multi-faceted conference and event space which is based in the cultural hub of Sheffield City centre. With six conference and meeting rooms, accommodating from two to two hundred plus guests, we are looking for an experienced professional with drive and determination to maintain and maximise existing accounts, whilst enhancing our client portfolio through pro-active calling and networking, to ensure targets and revenue is achieved.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills are essential, along with experience of the hospitality and events industry.
