The Light are looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join their Marketing Department. 

About The Light

The Light is a challenger brand operating in the cinema and leisure space, operating 12 venues across the UK. We are at an important stage of our development with a strong pipeline of new sites. We started as a cinema business ten years ago with a focus on providing excellent auditoriums and a great customer experience.

More recently we have been busy enhancing our proposition to include luxury seating, a more contemporary look and feel, and an excellent F&B offering. We have opened larger sites and extended existing sites to create destination leisure venues where people can combine cinema with eating and playing via our leisure. We strive to cultivate the best experience in entertainment through an offer which is immersive, inclusive and inventive.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our Marketing Department. The role is split into updating our relevant channels to ensure that the correct film information is available for our guests, and then also creating a variety of digital ads to drive our awareness forward.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and someone who isn’t afraid of a bit of repetition. The advertising provides a real opportunity to build our business, we are not worried about how much experience the candidate has on ads but would expect them to learn fast and not be afraid of jumping in.

Main responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing our paid digital activity across Meta Ads, Google AdWords and LinkedIn advertising including budget management, utilising a strong understanding of ROI in order to action performance analysis and optimisation.
  • Writing and building email campaigns, segmenting audiences according to content and optimizing send times, continually analysing results to drive improved performance.
  • CRM management – ensuring we are utilising the system to the best of its ability and always looking for ways to add to the data and segment it effectively.
  • Own our website from a content point of view – updating film information, ensuring links are right, and generally looking for ways to make the user journey easy and informative.
  • Updating our digital screen content across the sites to show relevant content at key times.
  • Manage all competitions and giveaways.
  • Update KPI reports regularly and share trends with the wider team.

Who you are

  • An analytically savvy person who loves digging into data
  • A good level of numeracy as well as intermediate Excel skills
  • A good multi-tasker with excellent time management
  • Detail-orientated and strongly motivated
  • Happy using and managing software systems
  • Someone who strives to improve areas that they can effect
  • Loves getting to know audience behaviours and targeting content based on this
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role
