EFN Short Film Festival (Emerging Filmmakers Night) is seeking a Social Media Assistant to contribute to their small and friendly team of volunteers from February until May 2023.

Emerging Filmmakers Night is a BIFA qualifying international festival that showcases, educates and promotes emerging filmmakers. Through our annual festival in September and special events throughout the year, we provide new filmmakers from all backgrounds and age groups with the tools to navigate the industry intelligently and with confidence.

We are looking for a social media “native” with a keen interest in film festivals and an ability to create simple graphics to help us with our social media strategy and operation. This is a part-time, flexible post that will be adjusted to individual requirements and other work responsibilities. The key aspect is a genuine interest in independent filmmaking and an ambition to progress within the film industry.

Hours negotiable depending on candidates’ commitments, maximum one day a week. Travel and food expenses will be covered.
