The Independent Cinema Office is looking for members for a paid advisory group for its new FEDS Alumni Development Fund.
What is the FEDS Alumni Development Fund?
As part of the expansion of our FEDS Trainee programme and Alumni network, we are excited to introduce the FEDS Alumni Development Fund to build exhibition experience and contribute to professional development. The Fund aims to:
- develop skills and understanding of exhibition practice, programming and event & cinema management
- create access to unique and diverse film programming
- encourage networking and the development of new contacts
- enhance career options and build on past FEDS experience
What’s involved in taking part?
The ICO is seeking Advisory Group members to provide informed advice, guidance and recommendations on applications to the FEDS Alumni Development Fund. This will include providing feedback and recommendations on all received applications, and meeting as a group along with the ICO’s Head of Partnerships and Development to discuss further and advise on next steps. It is possible to do this work remotely and join meetings online (though you are welcome to join us in the office if you prefer and feel safe).
We envisage this work will take no more than two half-days, split between assessing applications and the group meeting and will take place between 10–20 October (dates and times flexible).
