Project Co-ordinator

Screen Archive South East

Brighton

Salary: £23,487 to £26,341 pro rata (22.5 hours per week)

Screen Archive South East is looking for a Project Co-ordinator for its new National Lottery Heritage Fund funded project Our Screen Heritage.

About the role

This is an exciting new role which will enable you to make a difference to the LGBTQIA+ community by addressing the lack of representative records within the archive’s collection. This project will explore and share LGBTQIA+ heritage recorded on film. You will be responsible for coordinating the projects regional and community activities in Folkestone and Margate and for communications with partners, freelancers and participants. You will also be involved in organising the project’s search for new material and promoting this and the project’s activities on the project website and social media.

You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a good understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion issues.

This is a part-time post for 22.5 hours per week, excluding meal breaks (these are unpaid). The working days are 3 a week (days to be discussed). Occasional evening and weekend work will also be required to attend events in Folkestone and Margate.
