Regional Marketing Manager - Ali & Ava

Salary: £1250

Altitude Film Distribution is looking for a proactive Yorkshire-based Regional Marketing Manager, who is passionate about independent cinema, to help amplify the reach and awareness of their upcoming release of Clio Barnard’s Ali & Ava in cinemas on 4 March.

Set and shot in Bradford, Ali & Ava is a joyful, authentic romantic drama that celebrates the wealth and diversity of the city’s culture. We are therefore keen to ensure that the film’s campaign reaches a local audience who will be keen to see Bradford and Yorkshire portrayed on the big screen.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can identify marketing opportunities for the film across conventional media, below-the-line marketing and grassroots outreach across the Yorkshire area.

This role is a fixed term contract of four weeks at 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Arranging and managing marketing opportunities in the Yorkshire area such as organising events/screenings, engaging local influencers, partnering with local businesses and arts and culture organisations and arranging below-the-line marketing.
• Identifying, booking and managing local advertising opportunities.
• Liaising with local cinemas direct to increase the film’s visibility at those sites.
• Management of regional marketing budget.
• Working with the Altitude marketing team to amplify the reach of our national campaign.

Skills needed

• Experience and understanding of developing and delivering marketing campaigns in the local area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An active knowledge of the cinema landscape in Bradford and Yorkshire, preferably with established relationships with key cinemas.
• Effective time management.
• Creative thinking to identify bespoke opportunities for engaging audiences with the film.

Fee

£1250 – This role is a fixed term contract of four weeks at 20 hours per week.
