The BFI is looking for a Volunteers Assistant to join the London Film Festival team.

The BFI London Film Festival is looking for a Volunteers Assistant with excellent communication, organisational and computer skills. The Volunteers Assistant will support the Volunteers Coordinator with scheduling, training and managing the festival’s approximate 100 volunteers.

As someone who understand the value and benefits of volunteering, the successful candidate will help cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere for the festivals volunteers, while ensuring that festival requirements are met. With strong organisational skills, you will have the ability to prioritise and manage changing demands. You will also have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Southbank, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working a mixture of from office and from home, so some flexibility around this is needed.
