For over a year, Katy Raines at Indigo has been researching how audiences are feeling about returning to venues, and what they’ve been doing in the meantime. Through audience panels and surveys such as the Culture Restart Cinema Tracker developed in collaboration with the ICO, Indigo identified five areas of reassurance necessary for cinemas to build their audience confidence: Health and Safety, Access, Financial, Social and Brand.
This new ‘Five Reassurances’ model is designed to help you structure your thinking around an audience-friendly reopening, covering crucial health and safety aspects whilst remaining mindful that audiences might be feeling hesitant about other things – will the first experience back still feel like the venue they love? And will it encourage them to return again?
This session will run through the Five Reassurances, using practical examples of how to implement them, as well as sharing the most up to date audience opinions on mask wearing and socially distanced seating. The session will include the opportunity to discuss and ask questions. Click here to register for this free webinar.
This event will be live-captioned. We’ll provide instructions on how to access the captions at the start of the session.
Developed by Indigo in collaboration with the ICO, the Culture Restart Cinema Tracker is a free tool to help cinemas understand how their attendees are feeling and plan for a successful reopening. You can see results from the first wave of findings here.
