The BFI seeking a Project Manager – Future Archive Research to join the Collections & Information department on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2022.

You will be responsible for the project management and successful delivery of the BFI National Archive Strategic Case for Change project.

You will be the first point of contact for the delivery of this project, being accountable for the creation of plans to identify and implement resources, talent, data and activities needed to successfully complete it.  You will be responsible for assessing market trends to identify threats & opportunities, conducting research of operations & processes and preparing reports to present findings.

You will work independently but will liaise with cross-departmental teams, in particular the BFI National Archive and Reuben Library, for support and building long term relationships that will enable the future transformation of the Archive.

Extensive experience in project management is required for this role and of working with Her Majesty’s Treasury Green Book Cases.  In addition you will bring strong organisational and planning skills as well as research and critical thinking abilities to evaluate problems and identify solutions.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Stephen Street, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home until the foreseeable future.
