Salary: £22,480 - £25,170

The Barbican Cinema programme sits within the Barbican Centre, a world-renowned multi-disciplinary arts venue. Our cinema showcases the best international new releases, facilitating talks with filmmakers, delivering major curated seasons, hosting international film festivals and leading in the presentation of the performing arts on screen.

The Barbican Cinema programme invests in the artists of today and tomorrow, building a platform for independent directors and working with a variety of international film festivals and arts partners. We showcase the work of young programmers and filmmakers and collaborate with the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

An exciting opportunity is available within the Cinema team, for passionate and driven Cinema Assistant. This role will be integral in supporting the Cinema Curators and Head of Cinema in delivering our organisational and departmental objectives. There is a focus on administration and office operations, with an opportunity to lead on distributor liaison and communication with internal and industry contacts.

Do you have excellent attention to detail, and demonstrable time management and organisational skills? Are you a natural communicator and with good writing skills? Does the prospect of working in a leading arts venue setting and being part of a cinema team excite you?
