Located in Eastbourne, where the coast and the South Downs meet, Towner Eastbourne is an award-winning mixed arts venue comprising internationally renowned art galleries and a cinema.
Following the establishment of its cinema in 2017 (with the support of Arts Council England and Eastbourne Arts Centre), Towner has established a reputation for consistently delivering a thoughtfully curated and engaging film programme ranging from quality mainstream titles to independent gems and classic titles.
Towner’s regular programming partners include Eastbourne Film Society, University of Sussex’s School of Media, Film and Music, Eastbourne Rainbow, and Eastbourne Cult Film Club, and they also work with local community groups to mark occasions like LGBTQ+ History Month and World AIDS Day.
Towner Eastbourne is a charity, funded by Eastbourne Borough Council and Arts Council as part of its National Portfolio.
